New Home Construction Progress Pictures
You can see the progress of new construction below.  We are doing this because there are many people that have never gotten to watch a new home going up, and thought they might find it interesting.

We dug the hole and are getting the footings in.

After the snow storm ended we started blocking it up

Missed a couple days of pictures, but we waterproofed, backfilled and started framing.

Main floor Interior walls are up, and most of the sheathing is on. The 2nd floor joists etc will be starting next.

Finishing up the second floor, and putting up the garage. We'll be ready for trusses in a day or two. It's starting to look like a house now.

Picture taker missed a couple days, but the framer didn't. Trusses up, roof's on. Now we'll add the covered entry.

Picture taker missed a few days again. The entry roof is on, the interior is all finished and cleaned up, and the ice/water shield & roofing paper is on. We'll have shingles in the next few days. Then the mechanical rough-ins start. Heating, Electrical & Plumbing. Not much to see for awhile.

Windows & doors are in, now most of the work is going on inside. Electrical, heating, plumbing, then insulation, sheetrock, paint, hardwood & ceramic flooring, trimming etc. so there won't be much to take pictures of for awhile.

Here is a shot from the entry looking up to the "sitting area" that will overlook the open foyer. You'll also see the skylight from here. How's your imagination?..... Can you "see" it? At the right you can see it after it's finished. How was your imagination?

Here you are looking from the kitchen through the dinette area into the family room. You'll be amazed at how much larger the rooms look once they get sheetrocked. There will be a 1/2 wall w/column separating the dinette & family room. Far right is the finished pictures.

Here you are looking from the family room through the dinette area into the kitchen. The door to the right goes to the laundry/mudroom.

So often the "main" bath gets neglected. Here we stuck in a skylight, and it now makes the bath a bit unique, plus its bright!
